Yang Jia, a 28-year-old unemployed Beijing man, who killed 6 policemen and injured another 3 plus a security guard in a knife attack in Shanghai on July 1, was sentenced to death at the Shanghai No.2 People's Intermediat Court Monday. Yang has confessed his killings, the prosecution said.
